CopiBook Glass

(This is from an email from Lourdes.) We are starting to notice the same glass problem on Copibook3 as we previously had with Copibook6, where the glass becomes worn and develops a blueish tint down the middle. As far as I know, this problem is only occurring with Copibooks that shoot books. The glass on CB3 is not yet bad enough that it needs to be replaced and the problem is barely noticeable but in order to avoid further problems I recommend the following:

1. Encourage distribution use of Copibook use, meaning that someone does not shoot on the same machine everyday.
2. Encourage distribution of imaging material, meaning that we educate our shooters to move the books around the base (i.e don’t always place the books perfectly centered)

This will hopefully extend the life of the glass. Any other ideas or recommendations are welcome.
