Collaborative Blog for All Partners
We–as in we at UF’s Digital Library Center–don’t have as many regular/quick to diagnose and troubleshoot problems internally as we once did. Or, at least not as many that can be fixed easily or through better documentation and communication. Since this blog is now less useful internally, we’re expanding its scope to make it optimally useful by extending it to be a blog for technical concerns for all partners. I’ll be setting up a list-serve for partner technical contacts as well as providing updates here.
Because everything that happens to UFDC also affects our partners in dLOC, SWFLN, and so many other groups, this seemed like a better way to leverage resources for the greatest shared benefit. Hopefully this will also help our partners get to know each other better to further develop new partnerships and to continue improving technologies and connections for the shared benefit of all.
Hopefully we’ll have lots of communication and then solve so many problems that we have to extend this blog’s purpose once again!
