My preferred search engine is "GoodSearch" which makes a charitable donation to a non-profit organization of your choice with each search you make. It is interesting to note that there is a Google toolbar in the Firefox browser, making Google the go-to search engine because it is convenient. I've seen web ads lately for Bing, which is being marketed as a "decision" engine -- haven't looked at it, because I am so lazy I will not even go beyond my Google homepage.
